Duke was the nickname given to me by my late grandfather. My family and friends have called me Duke ever since I can remember. After 12 years of service working at a national Sandwich Chain, a corporate buyout left me unemployed. It has always been my dream to open my own Deli. After becoming unemployed and unable to find suitable work to support my family, I decided to make my dream a reality. Most days you will find me behind the counter making your sandwich. The goal of Duke’s Deli is to stimulate our local economy by creating jobs and keeping profits local.
